Our Passion

Mahatma Gandhi famously said, ”You must be the change you want to see in the world.” Traditionally speaking, personal finance isn’t taught in schools. The necessary financial tools that are needed in life are missing from high schools and college curriculums. Upon high school graduation, each young adult should have the core fundamentals of personal finance mastered. Some 56% of Americans are unable to cover an unexpected $1,000 bill with savings, according to a telephone survey of more than 1,000 adults conducted in early January (2022) by Bankrate. Without the proper education, the above number WILL grow.

As a first-generation college graduate, I recall being introduced to 401K’s, Roth IRA’s, and HSA’s during onboarding for my 1 st job. The experience was embarrassing as I was completely clueless about each product. The power of compound interest and how it can change the financial health of a family tree is imperative. Life is considered the best teacher and we’re on the mission to prepare every student to ace the financial exams in life.

The most common statement we receive is “I wish this was taught in schools” and we’re on a mission to change that. We’re no longer sitting along the sidelines wishing for change. We’ve decided to be the change in the world, we want to see.
