Director, Career Pathways and Curriculum
Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD)

Erika is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, currently serves as the Director, Career Pathways and Curriculum for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD). Erika is a vital part of the team that leads the district's PACE (Planning and Career Exploration) initiative. PACE is a school-based curriculum for students in grades 6th – 12th that provides knowledge, skills, career shadowing, internship opportunities, and confidence to uncover the occupation and future career of their choice. 

Prior to her role with CMSD, Erika worked as the Education Coordinator for MAGNET’s Early College Early Career Program where she developed and implemented a soft-skills curriculum for high school students looking to pursue careers in manufacturing. Erika has over 10+ years of dedicated experience working and volunteering with many of the region’s non-profit and education-based programs with a primary focus on youth mentorship, and college and career readiness. Erika has thrived in assisting youth with identifying potential and existing barriers to success and linking them to necessary and relevant resources that will allow them to advance in their future careers. 

She is an avid supporter of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Central State University.
