Sr. Director, Revenue and Compliance Management

Dani brings with her almost thirty years of experience in nonprofit accounting, grants management, compliance & audit readiness. She oversees revenue and compliance functions for JumpStart’s venture funds and manages the organization’s internal control procedures for grant award funds and reporting (~$15M annually). 

Before JumpStart, Dani spent nearly sixteen years at Case Western Reserve University, most recently serving as the Assistant Controller. Also entrepreneurial, she launched DM Strategic Solutions in 2020 when small business owners struggled with implementing sound financial systems required for PPP and EIDL loan forgiveness. Dani earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Cleveland State University. 

With community and culture as her nucleus, she currently serves as Board Chair, DANCECleveland, is a member of Our Hope Our Future, Giving Circle – a Black Professionals philanthropy group, loves outdoor activities, four-legged barking fur babies, and travel.
